Classic Knee-High Compression Socks

I bought my first pair after reading an article about the company in the Globe & Mail. I was so pleased with how comfortable these socks were, that I went ahead and bought 3 more pairs when they had the promotion of buy 2 get the 3rd pair free. I couldn’t be happier. I’m a teacher and stand most of the day and these socks have really helped to keep my varicose veins in check.

Ok compression. You lose the compression around the calf after two washes no dryer

After two wash, no dryer, they no longer hold up atound the calf. Ok compression.

I purchased 3 pair on the recommendation of my rheumatologist. Two pair were the cotton and one pair the nylon. I wore the cotton pair on back to back days and was very satisfied with the feel, the ability to put them on and minor trouble getting them off. My legs did not ache, nor was there swelling around my knee or ankles. BUT, the nylon pair was very hard to get on and then off and while taking them off my thumb put a hole in the stocking. Now I am wondering if I'll be able to wear them again and how much damage will occur when I do try to put them on or take them off.
