Pear Compression started with a goal of helping women relieve uncomfortable symptoms associated with reduced circulation in the lower extremities. We wanted to be able to provide a quality compression sock that targeted and prevented inflammation and tenderness without sacrificing comfort or style.
Why is that last part so important to us? Because we wanted women to actually want to wear our compression socks and feel good doing so.
Our mission at Pear has always been the same – help women feel their best from the inside-out. By making compression wear comfortable and cute, we hope that we can help you ensure that poor circulation and its unwanted side effects have no chance at holding you back.
Consider Pear compression socks your new best friend – you can count on them to provide you with gentle yet effective support, be a source of comfort and relief, and help you look and feel your best wherever you go.
Who We Are
Meet Emily - a co-founder and the CEO of Pear Compression. Compassionate and creative are two great ways to describe Emily. She is a true visionary with a fiery passion for all things design. Emily has helped bring Pear to life and is involved in every aspect of the business; from the vision, design, marketing, partnerships, customer service... the list goes on. Being the young female entrepreneur that she is, her passion for Pear stems not only from the creation of beautiful and comfortable compression socks, but from Pear's long-term mission of helping women feel their best from the inside out through innovation, community, and constant support.
Every aspect of the design and manufacturing process was carried out with comfort, function, and style in mind. Advanced compression technology and materials from ethically sourced Italian-manufacturers ensures Pear compression socks are of the highest quality and produced with respect and compliance to corporate social responsibility guidelines. Pear compression socks are made from materials that are certified Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex®, meaning our materials are verified to be free chemicals and materials known to be toxic or otherwise harmful.
With a mission of helping women feel their best, and recognizing the value that human connection and support adds to this, our goal at Pear is to help provide women with access to a community of other women whom they may connect with and support one another. Through our blog and social platforms, we will provide you with insightful and educational articles and updates focused on women's health and wellness.
As our company continues to grow, our hope is to be able to support more women-centred initiatives. To date, we have partnered with Mamas for Mamas. A percent of our profits are donated to them and we also encourage personal donations from our customers at checkout to help support this incredible initiative.
